My story
Solomon lives with his mother, Nabude Grace, and his older brother, Hashya Destiny, at their grandmother's home in the village of Nauyo. His father left the family in 2017, when Solomon was three, and has not been in contact since. After he left, Solomon's mother had no income and no way to cover rent or food for her two boys. She returned to her own mother's home, where the family has remained. Their grandmother is elderly and cannot carry the weight of providing for them. Solomon's mother is doing what she can, but the household has very little to rely on. Solomon is 10 and has a brother beside him and a mother who stayed. A sponsor gives that family something solid to stand on.
