My story

Isaac lives in Namatala with his grandmother and three siblings. As a young boy, after his parents divorced, his mother abandoned him, unwilling to care for him any longer. His grandmother took on the role of his primary caregiver. Despite her efforts, the family faced severe financial difficulties, often struggling to afford basic necessities. To help his family, Isaac resorted to picking through trash to find anything of value or food to eat. Despite these hardships, Isaac's determination to succeed in his education never wavered. In 2008, IChooseYou Ministries discovered Isaac. Isaac has been a great student in school, working so hard. He is now studying to earn a degree in Building and Construction!
