My story

Isaac and his twin brother Jacob (also in IChooseYou) were raised with a single mother in Mbale. Life was so difficult for them that their mother eventually abandoned them to live with their grandma, who had a severe illness in her legs and HIV, and also no means to care for them. Isaac and Jacob joined IChooseYou in 2009 and has since done well in school. He’s currently studying building and construction.

What can I expect as a sponsor?

• A packet with your child’s story and a photo
• A new photo of your child at least once a year
• Information on how to write a letter to your child
• At least 2 letters from your child every year
• Ministry updates on a regular basis
