My story

Gloria is a resilient young girl living in Namatala, Mbale, with her mother and four siblings. Her family fled from the war in northern Uganda, seeking a better life in Mbale. However, financial instability forced them to scavenge in the streets to survive. In 2009, IChooseYou found Gloria in dire conditions and welcomed her into the program. Today, Gloria is steadily progressing in her studies for a degree in Catering and Hotel Management.
