My story

Charity lives with her mother and five siblings in Budaka district. She’s the fourth born in a family that has faced tremendous hardship since their father left four years ago. Their mother does her best to provide for the family, but struggles to cover even the smallest school costs. Charity had to leave school when her mom couldn’t afford the equivalent of 50 cents. Still, she dreams of becoming a doctor and is eager to return to school.
